Insites are also available ready-made through our partner TÜV Süd Academy. They've created their own XR training academy featuring our collaborations called IVEE. There you can view and purchase off the shelf virtual reality training for headsets and also Insites.

Smart Menus
Our smart menu system makes it easy to find specific immersive training information from up to 100 individual items quickly and intuitively using our folder system and floating menu access, even when you don’t have a mouse and also in VR.
Progress Tracking
Your immersive environment is filled with many different pieces of information, some of which may be out of view. Meaning that as you discover them and view them, the system records that fact and indicates how much is left to discover and what you’ve already seen. Added to that progress information can also be stored on and recovered from the learning management system. Additionally to that the menu items can change colour after they've been viewed so that you can identify which info items are still to be discovered
Advanced Help
A lot of immersive training is impossible to navigate without someone standing by you telling you what to do. The fundamental reason for this is that it is tricky to make proper help which is intuitive and appears when you need it without overloading you. For this reason our feedback system is second to none and ensures you don’t need any help. All you have to do is follow simple instructions and look for help in the obvious place if you get stuck.
Custom UI
Insites has a minimal and stylish UI which can be adapted to fit with the corporate identity of our clients across a full range of immersive training platforms. To achieve this the interface can be customised through the styling and design of the map, the design of the icons, the placement of a branded logo and the fonts and colours of the text elements of the user interface.
Our innovative navigation tools allow you to find your way through the environment using an arc that projects to the position you are aiming for. This intuitive tool is normally only found in VR but we have adapted it work with immersive training on desktop, mobile devices and VR headsets.
Getting around the immersive training environment is now much easier with our floating map. It gives you a sense of which way you’re facing and also how high things are. It’s also very helpful on devices when there is no mouse because the gyroscope allows you to move your cursor over the next navigation point.
Navigation isn't always based on knowing where you're going but more on what you're looking for. With insights you can use the thing you're looking for to help you find your way there. Simply select that item from the menu and our system will take you to the best place to find that one. It will also help you to look at variations of that same item in different locations
Sometimes the environment changes around you. For example day becomes night, or the room fills with smoke or the items in the room change position. Insites gives you the opportunity to experience the same space in different ways like entering the fourth dimension. Instead of moving in space you can move in time to when things have changed.
We can capture your space photographically but also in 3D to allow true freedom of movement (otherwise known as 6 degrees of freedom). This means you can move forward and back and also rotate. Allowing you to explore the whole environment as if you were walking through it. We do this by building a 3-D model of your environment and project the photographs onto it to great to create a truly three-dimensional immersive training.
Text & Media
Present information & media in context with the place where it's relevant. Click on an info point to reveal a panel displaying text, images, video or even links to external content. Clicking an image will display it in a gallery. Videos play in the floating panel or also in fullscreen.

Sequences of movement can bring the immersive environment to life. We often use stop motion animation techniques to allow doors to open or fans to spin. The sequences can be triggered by clicking on the object or simply run in the background.
A virtual host can introduce and guide you through your Insite. Video presenters are placed within the immersive space so that they look like they’re really there . Added to that you can trigger your avatar to begin or stop talking simply by clicking. Avatars help to bring personality to your Insite and also explain how everything works.
Any TV or computer screen can be filled with video or interactive content. This is often used to add extra information which is not floating in a hotspot but actually present in the space in a naturalistic way. With Insites we make an extra effort to create a believable looking screen by adding reflections over the image
We normally build Insites using 360º photographs but sometimes reality needs augmenting. Our expert 3-D artists are capable of creating completely convincing additions to the immersive training environment. For example, we can fill a room with furniture or remove items that shouldn’t be there. We can also create non-specific environments using our artificial intelligence tools.

Our data system and CMS allow us to link immersive training directly with external servers meaning we can directly integrate artificial intelligence to the contents of info items. We also use artificial intelligence to generate 360° panoramas. Making it possible to generate non-specific environments. For example, if you would prefer to make a safety training about not just your office but any office.
In fact AI is an integral tool in our production pipeline. Saving unnecessary work to allow real creativity to be the focus.

Insites is always improving and being updated. We have a lot of plans for the future. Sometimes it’s a client that makes us push the next development forward but either way we constantly strive to make the platform even more dynamic and add new more functionality for example more 3D capability and more dynamic behaviour within the information panels including search. On the backend it's also a great priority to simplify and also maximise the power of the authoring tools to give even more independence to our users.

It utilises the native browser on desktop and handheld devices without the need to download or store data. If you want VR it’s available immediately on headsets from Apple to Meta, we can even turn your phone into one. Insites can utilise your existing databases and smoothly embed into your website or LMS.

In business and many homes laptops and PCs are still a core tool. For this reason Insites utilise the ease of access and control that a mouse and large screen provides while ensuring that all major browsers (Mac and PC) are checked and compatible.
Perfectly scaled for handheld control
Mobile phones are the most common of all devices but perhaps the most difficult to make really useful for immersive experiences. The issue is that the screen is quite narrow so the text needs to be re-designed especially in a three-dimensional environment. The great advantage of mobile devices though is the availability of the gyroscope and the touch input mechanism. Despite the fact that Apple devices are notoriously security conscious we have developed a special functionality so that the highest quality device still functions as well as with Android.
The best way to share VR
Tablets offer the huge advantage of touch control combined with a larger screen and gyroscopic control. Insites utilises this to provide a less clicky and more smooth – low energy user experience.
No need to move your finger around the screen but simply to hover the virtual mouse over the object you wish to access keeping your hands on either side of the device like a steering wheel.
Fully functional immersive VR
Insites immersive trainings are specially developed for native web browsers found on Oculus, Pico and HTC headsets. Undeniably the headset experience is the most immersive while it also utilises the hand controllers to to provide intuitive navigation and selection tools. As there is no window as such, the menu items and progress bar follow the viewer in a floating tab.

Full featured integration with your LMS
Because Insites is web based it integrates very easily into a learning management system. Insites automatically generates a SCORM package which includes progress tracking and integrated testing. If you have other formats, no problem we can work with what you use.
Multi-Language built in
It’s simple to swap between different language versions of your Insite, in fact, all content including help, tips and menus are automatically switched. Two aid you in this respect we can offer a translation service or alternatively you can make your own translation within our CMS

No more cropped text on phones
There's nothing more annoying than a website that doesn't work on a mobile phone. In the end it's the most important of all of the platforms because everybody pretty much has one and it's usually the first place people will look for information.
We've perfected Insites' responsive behaviour to make sure that nothing goes off the screen and that every functionality that you would have on a larger window is still there and even better.
Using the power of your device's gyroscope
One of the great advantages of mobile devices it is the built in gyroscope. That allows you to tilt the phone and look around the immersive training without having to drive at all. Combined with the virtual mouse you have the ability to investigate without actually needing to move your fingers around. You just click with your thumb to select an item or navigate to the next position.
Mouseover without a mouse
The mobile phone doesn’t have the functionality of a mouse. However we have to built a tool which makes it possible to find out about things before you click on them and give you feedback as to what will happen. It also works like a steering wheel for the mobile phone.
Access to virtual reality with your own device
Mobile phones open the possibility of immersive training using a cardboard style holder for the mobile phone. This is very simple to set up and can be distributed to at a very low cost. Viewers can be mailed through the post or buy robust and optically precise devices like the one above.
In cardboard VR is there is no hand control so all clicking and selecting is done using a single floating cursor which works by waiting for a click to take place. We’ve integrated the navigation map so that you can pick your next destination by tilting your head and hovering over a map point.
